With 36 years of experience in the beauty industry, Joe brings a depth of knowledge, artistry, and connection to every client he serves. His journey began in Los Angeles, where he received his initial training, followed by a two-year apprenticeship in Seattle. Over the years, he has continued to prioritize education, attending advanced classes both across the U.S. and internationally. Joe’s career highlights include working at the renowned Coupe Rokei and Habitude salons, owning a chain of successful salons in Seattle and Redmond, and styling local news personalities, principal players in the Seattle Opera, and accomplished musicians.
Joe specializes in creating seasonal hair plans that harmonize cut, color, and texture, ensuring styles evolve naturally throughout the year. Known for his signature “lived-in” freestyle looks, he approaches each service with a thoughtful eye for face shape, eye color, lifestyle, and fashion sense. His ultimate goal is to create hair that is not only beautiful in the salon but effortless for clients to style at home.
Drawing inspiration from art, fashion, and nature, Joe blends technical skill with a bohemian spirit, making every appointment feel both elevated and relaxed. Outside of the salon, he’s a passionate traveler and devoted gardener — often sharing glimpses of his blooms and greenery on Instagram.
